Recently, SLA gave the go ahead for CAF to build a new weapon to add to their already large range of weaponary for public use. This was to become the CAF KC10g, a new public use double barrel shotgun. Concerns rang out amongst some of the hierarchy of SLA when the gun was released though, for instead of changing the calibre of the shotgun cartridges, CAF kept to the same 10ga as other shotguns. This means that the CAF KC10g can accept 10ga shot and slug ammunition, which is rather powerful for public use. But CAF had already thought of this and created a new type of ammunition to be publically avalible: The 10ga Salt Round.
Size: R /Clip: 2 /Cal: 10g /ROF: 1 /Recoil: 10 /Range: 10m /Weight: 4.2kg /Cost: 450 units
Note: The KC has no magazine. Instead, the cartridges are loaded directly and individually into the gun. The KC10g can hold two cartridges as it is doubled barrelled.
The new Salt Round is designed to be used with the new CAF KC10g but can equally be used any shotgun that accepts 10ga ammunition.
